Waste facility audits

Under Section 32 of the Waste Management Act 1996, waste must only pass to an organisation who is authorised under the Act to undertake the collection, recovery or disposal of the class of waste in question.

The following types of authorisation apply to waste management facilities in Ireland:

Industrial Emissions Licence
Waste licence
Waste facility Permit
Registration certificates
